Replacement of Ignition Lock Cylinder requires the disconnection of the negative battery cable and deactivating the SIR system. Take out the steering column trim covers and then an allen wrench is used to unlock the lock cylinder. During installation, make sure that everything is in proper alignment or you will have problems, re-install the trim covers and reconnect the battery.
