How to replace the alternator on 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Replacement of the generator will require disconnection of the battery negative cable and removal of drive belt. Unscrew the positive cable of battery on the generator and unscrew the engine lift hook and the generator mounting bolts. Fit in the new generator, reconnect the battery, and fit in the lift hook and drive belt.
