How to replace the Blend Door Actuator in a single zone system on 2006 Chevrolet Uplander?

A single zone system requires removal of the driver side knee bolster before locating the air temperature actuator for replacement purposes. First disconnect the electrical connector then detach the actuator bolts or screws before extracting the actuator piece. Additionally remove the actuator lever in case it needs removal. During installation the technician must reinsert the lever by making sure it fits properly since installation happens only in one orientation. Bolt down the actuator using the supplied bolts/screws to a torque level of 1.2 N.m (11 lb in). Reconnect the electrical connector then install the driver side knee bolster. The actuators' calibration process should be performed when necessary.
