Recovering refrigerant from the a/c system should be followed by securely capping or taping the Evaporator inlet and outlet tubing to stop contaminants from entering during repair. Before disconnecting the Evaporator inlet and outlet tube block from the A/C Expansion Valve it is essential to move the heater hoses for clearance, remove the Evaporator tube block to access the A/C Expansion Valve nut.
