Disassemble the auxiliary A/C Expansion Valve line block fitting by removing its bolt before taking the a/c lines from the auxiliary A/C Expansion Valve while discarding the sealing washers. Seal the exposed a/c refrigerant lines with caps or tape in order to stop contamination. The next step is to remove the auxiliary A/C Expansion Valve from Evaporator core by extracting its mounting bolts and taking it out while capping or taping off the core lines before discarding the sealing washers. During installation replace the Evaporator line caps or tape then insert new washers before attaching the auxiliary A/C Expansion Valve onto the Evaporator core by tightening all mounting bolts to 3.5 n.m (31 lb in).
