How to replace the Motor and Transmission Mount on 2006 GMC Canyon?

Vehicle maintenance begins with elevation and support for the car. A transmission jack should support the transmission until you remove the two nuts holding the transmission mount to the transmission support. Lift the transmission enough to remove the bolts while keeping it just above the transmission support. Place the new transmission mount before installing the bolts while tightening them to 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). Lower the transmission until the support is visible and tighten the two nuts on the transmission support to 57 nm (42 ft. Lbs.). Drive down the vehicle to the ground before taking off the transmission jack.
