How to replace the Leaf Spring Shackle on 2006 GMC Savana 2500?

In order to substitute a spring shackle, lift and hold the vehicle up, and hold the rear axle. Unscrew the mounting nut and bolt with the spring shackle and frame bracket attached to them. Install the new shackle, lock on it with the nut and the bolt and tighten.
