First raise and support the vehicle while also supporting the rear axle with a safety stand then proceed. To start replace the spring shackle you must first undo the bolt and the nut that link the spring shackle to the Leaf Spring and then undo the bolt and the nut that link the spring shackle to the frame bracket until the spring shackle becomes removable. Place the spring shackle on the Leaf Spring and frame bracket before installing the mounting nut and bolt to the frame bracket without tightening the nut. To proceed install the mounting nut and bolt onto the Leaf Spring . Begin by applying 115 nm torque to the spring shackle to frame mounting nut and 85 nm to the spring shackle to Leaf Spring mounting nut. To complete the process lower the vehicle after removing its rear axle support.
