How to replace the Leaf Spring Shackle on 2007 GMC Savana 2500?

In order to substitute the spring shackle, lift and hold the car and hold the rear axle. Unscrew the mounting nut and bolt between the spring shackle and the leaf spring and frame bracket and unscrew the shackle. Installation of new shackle, attaching of nuts and bolts and lowering of the vehicle.
