To service and repair the universal joint, use a U Joint Bearing Separator and U Joint Bearing Spacer Remover. Support the propeller shaft horizontally and mark its ends and fix the universal joint on a socket. Press out the bearing cups, check for debris and assemble by putting bearing cups and straightening out trunnions. To lubricate the snap ring for proper seating.
