How to replace the lower left air temperature sensor on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

To change the under portion sensor of the left air temperature, initially remove the left closeout panel. Turn the lower air temperature sensor counterclockwise to unlock it from the heater outlet cover, and then disengage the lower air temperature sensor from the cover and remove the sensor electrical connector. For the installation, turn the lower air temperature sensor clockwise until it is engaged with the heater outlet cover, after which the sensor and its electrical connector need to be reconnected before the left closeout panel is reinstalled.
