How to replace the EGR valve on 2007 Buick Lucerne?

The first step to change the exhaust gas recirculation valve requires removal of the intake manifold cover. First disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from EGR Valve and after that remove the EGR Valve nuts and the valve while you proceed to remove the EGR Valve Gasket. Perform surface cleaning then install both brand new EGR Valve Gasket and valve onto the mating surfaces. The EGR Valve installation requires tightening the nuts to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) after which the engine harness electrical connector needs to be reattached to the EGR Valve. The last step includes inserting the intake manifold cover back into its position.
