  A: The right side Exhaust Manifold replacement starts with using the engine tilt strap (J 41131) to move the engine forward for maintenance purposes. Start by removing the manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP). After that remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve along with heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) connector position assurance retention piece. Then detach the ho2s electrical connector followed by removing its bracket clip on the Ignition Coil. Move to the second step by taking away the Ignition Coil assembly and the Spark Plug Wires that serve the right bank spark plugs. First remove the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield bolts and the heat shield and then follow by disconnecting the exhaust crossover pipe nuts that connect the right Exhaust Manifold to it. Raise the vehicle before you disassemble the Catalytic Converter and Exhaust Manifold by removing bolts that secure the upper and lower heat shields and their respective heat shields and Exhaust Manifold nuts. Eliminate the Exhaust Manifold Gasket after which lower the vehicle before cleaning both Exhaust Manifold sealing areas. When replacing an Exhaust Manifold it is necessary to eliminate both the EGR Valve pipe and ho2s components before the replacement process. Renewal of the Exhaust Manifold requires initial EGR Valve pipe and ho2s installation before lifting and supporting the vehicle. Fasten the new Exhaust Manifold Gasket onto both studs and Exhaust Manifold keeping the nuts tight at 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Secure both Exhaust Manifold heat shields by first tightening their bolts by hand before torquing all bolts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Secure the exhaust crossover pipe nuts to the right Exhaust Manifold by applying torque to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). After that, lower the vehicle. Place the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield correctly then bolt it into position by tightening the fasteners to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Proceed with the following steps: reinstall Spark Plug Wires, install Ignition Coil assembly and join ho2s electrical connector then install cpa retainer along with ho2s connector clip to the Ignition Coil bracket. Complete the engine setup by positioning the EGR Valve together with the MAP Sensor then reduce pressure on the engine tilt strap (J 41131) before installing engine mount struts and removing the engine tilt strap (J 41131) to place the air cleaner outlet duct.
