2007 Buick Terraza Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Heater Core on 2007 Buick Terraza?
A: The replacement of the heater core requires draining the cooling system. The Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) should be used to open the clamps on the heater core so the heater hoses can be extracted from the heater core. The vehicle interior protection requires heater core inlet and outlet pipes to receive caps to stop coolant spills from happening. You should begin by taking off the heater core cover along with the heater core pipe clamp screw and ultimately the heater core itself. You should start by placing the new heater core into position then complete the installation by adding and torquing the heater core pipe clamp screw to 1.2 N.m (11 lb in). Fasten the heater hoses to the heater core before putting in the heater core cover. Use Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) to fasten the hoses by repositioning the heater hose clamps while filling the coolant.
