  • Q: How to replace the Spark Plug Wires on 2007 Buick Terraza?
    A: In order to take out the ignition cable first remove the intake manifold cover. Unplug the left side ignition cable from the spark plugs and Ignition Coil. In case of replacing only one cable, open the retaining clips and take away the ignition cable. After that, pull out the left side ignition cable clips from the intake manifold bracket and heater inlet and outlet pipe and the ignition cable assembly then take it out. Rotate the engine for access to the back and disconnect the left side ignition cable from the spark plugs and the right side ignition cable from the Ignition Coil. When it comes to just replacing one cable, then open the retaining clips and take off the ignition cable, remove the right side ignition cable clip from the Ignition Coil bracket and pull out the ignition cable assembly. Before installing, first install the ignition cable assembly and then plug the right side ignition cable clip to the Ignition Coil bracket. Replace only one of the ignition cables, install it, and close the retaining clip. Attach the right sided ignition cable from the Ignition Coil and the right sided spark plugs before turning the engine back to its original position. Place the ignition cable assembly putting and the left side into the clips of the intake manifold bracket and heater inlet and outlet pipe, put one cable if just one is changed and if it is finished to close retaining clips. Lastly, connect the left side ignition cable to the Ignition Coil and spark plugs while replacing the intake manifold cover.
