How to replace the Lash Adjuster on the left side on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

The left Lash Adjuster replacement process starts by removing the left valve rocker arms then checking that each camshaft follower stays at its original stationary hydraulic Lash Adjuster (SHLA) position. After cleaning the left Cylinder Head bores remove the shla and examine the lash adjusters. During installation position the Crankshaft at top dead center for cylinder number one. Pour clean engine oil into the shla making sure to protect its pivot sphere area by avoiding friction. Following Cylinder Head valve Rocker Arm replacement use clean engine oil to lubricate both scba bores before installing the bores into each bore and re-mounting the left valve rocker arms.
