After removing the shla from right cylinder head bores you should clean and inspect all lash adjusters. First position the Crankshaft to top dead center (TDC) of the number one cylinder before installing components. Before adding engine oil to the shla maintain cautious handling of the pivot sphere region to avoid surface damage. Dip the shla bore locations on the cylinder head into clean engine oil. After bores accept the shla install the right valve rocker arms.
