How to Replace a Vehicle Speed Sensor for Input on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

In order to replace the input speed sensor, remove transmission fluid pan and filter first. Pull the connector off the electrical wiring harness attached to the input speed sensor and then remove the input speed sensor bolt and pull it out of the place. Check on the input speed sensor for damaged or missing magnet, damaged housing, bend or missing electrical terminals, and metal contamination sticking to the magnet. For an installation, position the input speed sensor back into place and refer to fastener notice, install input speed sensor bolt and tighten to 11 n.m (97 lb in). Reinstall electrical wiring harness connector to the input speed sensor and lastly reattach the transmission fluid pan and filter.
