How to replace the ignition coil for Bank 1 on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

Removing the ignition coil for Bank 1 to install a new one involves removing the fuel injector sight shield and then pulling up the ignition coil cover straight from the cam cover. Disengage the ignition coil wiring harness electric connector from the coil to be replaced and then pull off the ignition coil retaining bolt. Carefully remove ignition coil out. Make sure that when installing the new ignition coil that the spark plug seals are in place. Mount the ignition coil after mounting its retaining bolt with 10 N.m (89 lb in) of tightness. Reconnect the ignition coil electrical connector, replace the ignition coil cover to cam cover, and lastly, replace the fuel injector sight shield.
