  A: The replacement procedure for the underhood electrical center or junction box requires negative Battery Cable disconnection as the first step. Start by removing the electrical center cover combined with the fastener which secures the negative cable to the electrical center. The next step is to disconnect the electrical connector while removing fasteners that secure the electrical center board. You should unlock the locking tabs on the electrical center board followed by lifting it upward while pulling the harness up to detach it. Unfasten the two parts numbered 1 and 2 to remove the electrical center from its vehicle holding position. To secure the electrical center to the vehicle install fasteners (1, 2) and tighten them to 10 n.m (86 lb in). Associate the harness with the locking tabs after which tighten the fasteners that secure the electrical center board to 7 n.m (62 lb in).
