How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 1) on 2007 Cadillac XLR?

To replace heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 1) make sure that engine is hot enough (above 48°C or 120°F) to make removal easier. Apply an anti-seize compound p/n 5613695 on threads of a used sensor because new service sensors are pre-coated. Start by lifting and holding the vehicle up and then go ahead and remove the forward Oxygen Sensor. Remove the electrical connector of it. Take out the forward oxygen from the Exhaust Manifold. For installation, insert the Oxygen Sensor into the Exhaust Manifold, tighten it to 41 n.m (30 lb ft). Finally, reconnect the Oxygen Sensor connector, and bring it down.
