How to replace the A/C Hose for the evaporator tube on 2007 Chevrolet Colorado?

Before replacing the evaporator tube start by retrieving refrigerant from the system through the use of the halogen leak detector (J39400-A). Start the procedure by taking off the txv stud nut that holds the evaporator tube followed by detachment of the tube from the txv. The evaporator tube requires removal by detaching it from fender retaining clips before taking out the grille. The replacement starts with removing the evaporator tube retaining clip from the condenser followed by the evaporator tube attaching bolt at the receiver dehydrator before completing the task by removing the evaporator tube. Rephrase the o-ring seal before adding a new o-ring seal. The evaporator tube installation requires securing with the bolt at the receiver dehydrator position and tightening the nut to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). Seal the evaporator tube retaining clip in front of the condenser before putting back the grill. Also fasten the evaporator tube to both the txv and the txv stud with a secure attachment. The a/c system evacuation follows recharging the system along with leak testing component fittings through the halogen leak detector (J39400-A).
