How to Replace the A/C Hose in an Evaporator Tube System on 2008 Chevrolet Colorado?

With the goal of substituting evaporator tubes in llv - 2.9l and llr - 3.7l vehicles you must first extract refrigerant contents from the system. The fittings of installed components need leak testing through the use of halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). The first step is to remove the evptuben from its position on the txv stud before removing the evptube from the txv. Remove the grille while detaching the evaporator tube through the clips located on the fender. Start the evaporator tube replacement process by extracting the condenser retaining clip followed by removing the receiver dehydrator bolt that attaches the evaporator tube then unfasten the evaporator tube. The team replaced the old o-ring seal with a new one before reinserting the unit. The evaporator tube must be restored by tightening the receiver dehydrator bolt to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). Reinstall the evaporator tube retaining clip to the condenser front before putting back the grille while keeping the tube connected to the txv. Before finishing, use the evaporator tube nut to affix it to the txv study while completing system evacuation and recharging.
