The first step to replace the suction hose for llv - 2.9l and llr - 3.7l requires the recovery of refrigerant. Next, remove the generator. Start by removing the suction hose mounting bolt from the A/C Compressor and afterwards separating the suction hose from the compressor. First detach the txv stud nut before taking the suction hose off the txv. The suction hose assembly of the vehicle should be removed followed by discarding used sealing washers and system opening caps. The first step for installation requires attachment of the new suction hose to the vehicle by using proper sealing washers. Begin by mounting the suction hose to the txv then fasten the nut onto the txv stud while torquing it to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Using new sealing washers install the suction hose to the A/C Compressor along with securing the suction hose mounting bolt to the A/C Compressor by tightening it to 16 n.m (12 lb ft).
