How to replace the rear disc brake pads (JL9-J55) on 2007 Chevrolet Corvette?

Check the brake master cylinder reservoir before starting work on the rear disc brake pads (JL9-J55). No fluid needs to be drained when the fluid level stays between its highest and lowest markings. Before you begin raise the vehicle with supports. Then take off the tire and wheel assembly. To keep the rotor steady on the hub use a hand tool to fasten the wheel lug nut. Connect a c-clamp tool across the brake caliper ends against its back. Press a worn Brake Pad or wood block against the caliper piston and tighten until it moves through the rotor. Secure the hydraulic hose from damage by hanging the caliper with strong mechanic's wire before removing its guide pin bolts. Examine both the bracket and the caliper after removing them from their positions. Also check the retainer of the brake pads. Before installing the caliper slide boots you should inspect them for damage and replace any faulty parts. Put back the large c-clamp to push the piston fully into the chamber and take it away with the old pad block. Put the brake pads into position with their sensor in place before attaching the new Brake Pad retainers to the holder. Put back the brake caliper to its bracket and fasten guide pin bolts at 31 n.m (23 lb ft) torque. Connect the tire assembly then put the car down. Without starting the engine push the brake pedal till it reaches two-thirds of its range then let it return to its usual position continue the process until the brake pedal feels strong and add fluid to the cylinder until reaching the right level before letting pads and rotors polish against each other.
