How to replace the rear Motor and Transmission Mount on 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?

Vehicle transmission rear mount replacement begins by properly raising and supporting the vehicle then removing both front wheels. Additional clearance for replacement can be obtained by disconnecting awd stabilizer links from the stabilizer shaft before swinging it upward. Position the vehicle securely then remove the through bolt linking transmission mount to bracket and frame bolts before extracting the transmission mount from its position. Place the transmission mount onto the frame before installing the transmission mount-to-frame bolts with 50 n.m (37 lb ft) torque. While aligning the mount to the bracket position the transmission mount-to-bracket through bolt and tighten it to 110 n.m (81 lb ft). When working on awd models first lower the stabilizer shaft then reattach stabilizer links by tightening stabilizer link nuts to 65 n.m (48 lb ft). After reinstalling front tires and wheels onto the vehicle lower it down completely.
