How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on 2007 Chevrolet Express 3500?

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor or Switch replacement requires removal of the engine cover first. Remove the oil pressure sensor by disconnecting the oil pressure sensor electrical connector and by using the Oil Pressure Sensor Socket (J 41712). Seal the threads on the new oil pressure sensor using the correct part number sealants adhesives and lubes. Next, employing the Oil Pressure Sensor Socket (J 41712), replace the new oil pressure sensor and tighten them with the torque of 35 N.m (26 lb ft). Reconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connectors and replace engine cover.
