Because of the automatic transaxle users must remove it first before servicing or repairing the engine Flywheel. The Flywheel holder (J 37096) will secure the Flywheel to keep the Crankshaft stationary so begin loosening the Flywheel bolts. Gather one bolt from the top of the Crankshaft while removing five other bolts from the Flywheel and carefully grip the Flywheel to remove the final bolt to prevent dropping the component. The next step requires engine Flywheel cleaning of both bolt threads and bolt holes. To install the Flywheel apply it to the Crankshaft and use finger tightness when installing the Flywheel bolts. Security through the Flywheel holder (J 37096) allows you to install the Flywheel before torqueing all engine Flywheel bolts to 70 n.m (52 lb ft). If the car has an automatic transaxle it needs to be reinstalled during the last step of the procedure.
