How to replace the brake drum on 2007 Chevrolet Malibu?

Before starting the Brake Drum replacement process raise the vehicle and prepare it for work. First take off the rear wheel and tire unit then remove the Brake Drum. Before reusing the Brake Drum you should clean its rusted hub/flange intersection surface with j 41013 rotor resurfacing kit and use j 42450-a wheel hub resurfacing kit to clean the wheel hub flange. During installation adjust the drum brakes first and then install the Brake Drum. When reinstalling the surface of the drum brake needs gentle cleaning of any corrosion at its edge. Set the rear wheel and tire back then push the brake pedal three times to help the shoes fit properly in the drum.
