How to replace the rear coil springs, insulator, and jounce bumper on 2007 GMC Acadia?

Repositioning the rear spring and insulator with the jounce bumper starts by raising and supporting the vehicle followed by tire and wheel removal. Position an adjustable jack stand beneath the lower Control Arm to remove the lower stabilizer shaft link bushing and nut followed by the lower shock absorber bolt and lower bolts from the knuckle. Lower the vehicle with the adjustable jack stand at a controlled speed until all parts including the rear spring , insulator , jounce bumper , and spring seat can be accessed. Start installation by setting up the spring seat , jounce bumper , rear spring , and insulator on the Control Arm. Next raise the Control Arm with the adjustable jack stand until you can install the knuckle's lower bolts. Begin by removing the adjustable jack stand before attaching the lower stabilizer shaft link bushing, its nut, then installing the lower shock absorber bolt. Place the rear tire and wheels before taking out vehicle support and lowering the vehicle.
