In order to remove rack and pinion, lift the vehicle and put a drain pan beneath it. After that, remove the tires, and then remove the outer tie rods. Disconnect the outer tie rods with a puller. Disassemble the rack and pinion and fit the new part, assembling all the parts and bleeding the power steering system.
