How to replace the rear axle tie rod on 2007 GMC Envoy?

First, lift and support the vehicle and the rear axle at the designed d- height to replace the rear axle Tie Rod. It is essential to depressurize the air suspension system in case of its presence; failure to do so will lead to body displacement during repairs. Then remove the rear axle Tie Rod from the axle mounting bolt and nut, and remove the Tie Rod to frame mounting bolt and nut, then take the Tie Rod off the vehicle, with the help of a socket wrench. For installation, position the inner sleeve offset (largest gap) of the bushings toward the rear axle. Replace the rear axle Tie Rod back into the vehicle and tighten down the frame mounting bolt and nut, followed by the axle mounting bolt and nut. The rear axle Tie Rod mounting bolts should also be tightened to 195 n.m (144 lb ft). Last of all, remove the rear axle support and lower the car.
