How to replace the rear axle tie rod on GMC Envoy?

Replacing the rear axle Tie Rod begins by following a method which includes lifting the vehicle and rear axle support at the d - height level based on trim height specifications. A vehicle with air suspension needs its system to be depressurized before body shift occurs during repair. The process of replacing the rear axle Tie Rod begins with detaching its axle mounting bolt and nut followed by frame mounting bolt and nut before taking the Tie Rod out of the vehicle. The rear axle Tie Rod should be inserted into the vehicle with all bushings facing the rear axle in such a way that their inner sleeve offset (biggest gap) points forward. Attach the frame mounting bolt to the Tie Rod followed by installing the corresponding axle bolts and nuts before tightening the rear axle Tie Rod mounting bolts to 195 nm (144 ft. Lbs.). Lastly drop the vehicle while pulling out the rear axle support.
