2007 GMC Savana 2500 Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the wiper arm on 2007 GMC Savana 2500?
A: Begin replacement by positioning wipers to park mode then disconnecting the washer hose structure from the air intake barrier panel. Take off the protective piece from the Wiper Arm nut and then remove the nut from the Wiper Arm. When rocking the Wiper Arm fails to disconnect it from the Drive Shaft please use either the Wiper Arm puller (J 39822) or battery terminal puller to help with removal. Unscrew the Wiper Arm until it becomes free from the Drive Shaft and take it off from there. Separate the Wiper Blade from the Wiper Arm. Fitting the Wiper Blade on the new Wiper Arm requires caution not to mix left and right side wiper arms which have fixture markings showing their intended positions. Put the wiper's central point over the lower black windshield markers and place the Wiper Arm on its shaft area. Secure the Wiper Arm nut by keeping it near the air vent space during tightening to 26 n.m (19 lb ft). Ensure the wiper operation quality by running the system when you finish installing the nut and connecting the washer hose elbow.
