Start by placing wipers in park mode and disconnecting the washer hose from the panel air inlet. First uncover the Wiper Arm nut then take the Wiper Arm nut off. The Wiper Arm puller (J 39822) or a battery terminal puller will help detach the Wiper Arm if regular rocking fails to free it from the
Drive Shaft. After detaching the Wiper Arm from the Drive Shaft you can take both parts off for replacement. First install the
Wiper Blade to the Wiper Arm carefully avoiding putting the wrong arm on the blade side. Firmly position the Wiper Blade's middle over the windshield dots before fitting the Wiper Arm onto the shaft. Hook the Wiper Arm safely into the air inlet grille panel space while tightening its nut to 26 n.m (19 lb ft). To finish assembly place the cover back over the nut then fasten the washer hose hook to its original position above the air inlet before testing the wipers.
