How to replace the front side door roof drip Weather Strip on GMC Savana 2500?

The first step to replace the Front Side Door Roof Drip weather strip is to remove it from the roof rail followed by removing the weather strip retainers from the holes in the roof rail. Begin with inserting the weather strip inside the roof rail before you push the retainers into both the weather strip and the roof rail holes.

How to replace the rear door Weather Strip on GMC Savana 2500?

Commence replacement of the rear door Weather Strip after stripping off the rear corner garnish molding together with the driver side body side rear trim panel, the passenger side rear corner trim panel, the rear floor trim plate, and the rear door opening frame garnish molding. The rear door opening Weather Strip must be pulled off the pinch-weld flange using 3m release agent or an equivalent compound. To install the Weather Strip utilize gm p/n 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or equivalent adhesive and apply it into the channel on the rear door opening Weather Strip. Start the installation process from the corners by placing the Weather Strip against the door pinch-weld flange while maintaining proper placement of the corners throughout. Shape the Weather Strip into place after it is positioned straight and apply more adhesive to its bottom section if replacement includes the original Weather Strip. Insert retainers located at Weather Strip ends into floor panel holes before putting on all the necessary components such as rear door opening frame garnish molding, the rear floor trim plate, passenger side rear corner trim panel and driver side body side rear trim panel. Finish by reinstalling the rear corner garnish molding.

To install the Weather Strip utilize gm p/n 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or equivalent adhesive and apply it into the channel on the rear door opening Weather Strip. Start the installation process from the corners by placing the Weather Strip against the door pinch-weld flange while maintaining proper placement of the corners throughout. Shape the Weather Strip into place after it is positioned straight and apply more adhesive to its bottom section if replacement includes the original Weather Strip. Insert retainers located at Weather Strip ends into floor panel holes before putting on all the necessary components such as rear door opening frame garnish molding, the rear floor trim plate, passenger side rear corner trim panel and driver side body side rear trim panel. Finish by reinstalling the rear corner garnish molding.
