The first step to replace the side door opening Weather Strip involves removing four components including hinge pillar upper garnish, hinge pillar lower garnish molding, passenger side front corner garnish molding, passenger side body side trim panel, and the side door stepwell mat. After extraction of Weather Strip retainers from its lower corners operators should pull the Weather Strip away from the door opening pinch-weld flange before entirely removing it from the vehicle. Attach gm p/n 12345097 or its canadian equivalent p/n 10953479 Weather Strip adhesive into the new side door opening Weather Strip channel. Align the Weather Strip corners correctly with the body structure before pressing it into position then inserting the retainers at the ends through the door opening holes. The installation process should include reattaching the hinge pillar upper garnish followed by the hinge pillar lower garnish molding before finishing with the passenger side front corner garnish molding and passenger side body side trim panel and the side door stepwell mat.

Remove the front door opening upper frame garnish molding, the hinge pillar trim panel, the windshield garnish molding, the front door upper pillar garnish molding, the front door lower pillar garnish molding, and the front door stepwell mat.

Press the retainers in the weatherstrip into the holes in the door.

First, remove the weatherstrip from the door and take out the retainers from the holes in the door.

Insert the pocket over the door flange and push down the pins until fully seated, ensuring there are no gaps between the door and the weatherstrip.

Remove the hinge pillar trim panel, front door upper pillar garnish molding, front door lower pillar garnish molding, and front door stepwell mat.

Open the cargo door and pull the cargo door seal from the cargo door opening pinch-weld flange.

Ensure the corners are properly aligned with the body.

Reinstall the front door stepwell mat, followed by the front door lower pillar garnish molding, front door upper pillar garnish molding, and finally the hinge pillar trim panel.

Press the retainers into the weatherstrip and into the holes in the roof rail.

Install the retainer at the top of the weatherstrip to the door.

Align the slot in the rear hood seal with the cowl pinch weld flange and press the rear hood seal into place.

Gently pull on the weatherstrip to remove it from the door pillar, then take out the weatherstrip retainers from the holes in the door pillar.

Remove the rear corner garnish molding, driver side body side rear trim panel, passenger side rear corner trim panel, rear floor trim plate, and rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Cut slots as necessary for clearance around body structure reinforcements.

Start at the corners to align it with the door opening pinch-weld flange, ensuring it does not pull away at the corners, then press the weatherstrip onto the flange.

Clean all adhesive from the flange using GM P/N 8984 adhesive remover or an equivalent product.

Apply GM P/N 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or an equivalent adhesive into the channel on the new weatherstrip.

Begin by lowering the window.

First, remove the weatherstrip from the roof rail and take out the weatherstrip retainers from the holes in the roof rail.

Install the new weatherstrip onto the sliding side door.

Begin by removing the front door opening upper frame garnish molding, the hinge pillar trim panel, the windshield garnish molding, the front door upper pillar garnish molding, the front door lower pillar garnish molding, and the front door stepwell mat.

Position the weatherstrip onto the pillar and press the retainers in the weatherstrip into the holes in the door pillar.

Cut slots as necessary for clearance around body structure reinforcements.

Remove the rear corner garnish molding, driver side body side rear trim panel, passenger side rear corner trim panel, rear floor trim plate, and rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Reattach the side door trim panel.

Apply weatherstrip adhesive into the channel on the rear door opening weatherstrip using GM P/N 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or an equivalent.

Close the cargo door.

Position the new weatherstrip onto the door and firmly press the retainers into the holes to secure it in place.

Use a rubber mallet to ensure full engagement of the seal to the flange, ensuring it is not kinked at the corners of the door openings.

First, remove the retainer at the top of the weatherstrip and detach it from the top of the door using 3M Release Agent or an equivalent.

A mastic sealer glue is included, so do not use weatherstrip adhesive; however, if reusing the seal, apply weatherstrip adhesive.

Position the new weatherstrip onto the vehicle, ensuring the channel aligns with the pinch-weld flange, and press it into place.

It does not pull away at the corners.

Pull the sliding side door window weatherstrip from the window opening pinch-weld flange and remove it from the vehicle.

Pull the side door window weatherstrip from the window opening pinch-weld flange.

Use 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner (3M P/N 08987) to remove the weatherstrip from the top of the door.

Next, take out the retainers at the lower corners of the weatherstrip and pull the weatherstrip from the door opening pinch-weld flange before removing it from the vehicle.

Insert the pin located on the pocket into the door sheet metal until fully seated, again checking for gaps.

Clean the door thoroughly to remove any old adhesive.

First, pull up on the rear hood seal and remove it from the cowl pinch-weld flange.

Install the retainers at the ends of the weatherstrip into the holes in the floor panel.

Use 3M Release Agent to detach the weatherstrip from the top of the door.

Press the retainers in the weatherstrip into the holes in the sliding side door.

Press the retainers in the weatherstrip into the holes in the door.

Remove the weatherstrip retainers from the holes in the door.

Start by removing the weatherstrip from the door pillar by gently pulling on it.

First, remove the weatherstrip from the door, followed by the weatherstrip retainers from the holes in the door.

Install the new weatherstrip onto the sliding side door.

Apply GM P/N 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or an equivalent into the channel on the new weatherstrip.

Attach the weatherstrip to the bottom of the door, and finally press the retainers in the side front door weatherstrip into the holes in the door.

First, remove the hinge pillar upper garnish, hinge pillar lower garnish molding, side door opening frame garnish molding, passenger side front corner garnish molding, passenger side body side trim panel, and the side door stepwell mat.

Remove the left rear door weatherstrip from the left rear door.

At the corners.
