The door opening pinch-weld flange requires 3m release agent or an equivalent for pulling the rear door opening Weather Strip free from its position. Users should install Weather Strip adhesive through the channel of the rear door opening Weather Strip by utilizing gm p/n 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or another equivalent product. Begin from the corners by directing the weather stripping along the door pinch-weld flange while ensuring the corners stay where placed. Accessory adhesive should be added to the bottom ends of the Weather Strip for original reinstallment before inserting the Weather Strip into its position. First install the floor panel holes retainers to the Weather Strip ends before you replace the rear door opening frame garnish molding together with the rear floor trim plate and passenger side rear corner trim panel along with the driver side body side rear trim panel and completing with the rear corner garnish molding.

Replacement of the side door opening Weather Strip begins with removing the hinge pillar upper garnish, hinge pillar lower garnish molding and passenger side front corner garnish molding, passenger side body side trim panel and side door stepwell mat. You should start by dissembling the lower retainer points on the Weather Strip followed by extracting it from the door opening pinch-weld flange before taking it off the vehicle. The installation of the new side door opening Weather Strip demands that engineers apply Weather Strip adhesive into its channel through the use of gm p/n 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or equivalent products. Start by securing proper alignment of the body edges during the process while you press the Weather Strip into position using the retainers which will finish the installation at its ends. The installation process requires replacement of the hinge pillar upper garnish and hinge pillar lower garnish molding and passenger side front corner garnish molding together with the passenger side body side trim panel and the side door step well mat.

Remove the hinge pillar upper garnish, hinge pillar lower garnish molding, passenger side front corner garnish molding, passenger side body side trim panel, and the side door stepwell mat.

First, remove the pins that secure the weatherstrip to the upper door.

Remove the rear corner garnish molding, driver side body side rear trim panel, passenger side rear corner trim panel, rear floor trim plate, and rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Remove the weatherstrip retainers from the holes in the sliding side door.

Cut slots as necessary for clearance around body structure reinforcements.

Install the new side rear door lower weatherstrip onto the door.

Use a rubber mallet to ensure full engagement of the seal to the flange, ensuring it is not kinked at the corners of the door openings.

A mastic sealer glue is included, so weatherstrip adhesive should not be used; however, if reusing the cargo door seal, weatherstrip adhesive must be applied.

Remove the rear corner garnish molding, driver side body side rear trim panel, passenger side rear corner trim panel, rear floor trim plate, and rear door opening frame garnish molding.

Reinstall the front door stepwell mat, front door lower pillar garnish molding, front door upper pillar garnish molding, and finally the hinge pillar trim panel.

Reinstall the front door stepwell mat, the front door lower pillar garnish molding, the front door upper pillar garnish molding, and finally the hinge pillar trim panel.

Start at the corners to align it with the door opening pinch-weld flange, ensuring it does not pull away at the corners.

A water and soap solution per GM P/N 9985662, or equivalent.

Gently pull on the weatherstrip to remove it from the door pillar, then take out the weatherstrip retainers from the holes in the door pillar.

Apply GM P/N 12345097 (Weatherstrip Adhesive) into the channel on the new weatherstrip.

Reinstall the front door stepwell mat, the front door lower pillar garnish molding, the front door upper pillar garnish molding, the windshield garnish molding, the hinge pillar trim panel, and finally the front door opening upper frame garnish molding.

Ensure the corners are properly aligned with the body.

Gently pull the door opening weatherstrip from the door opening pinch-weld flange and remove it from the vehicle.

Press the retainers in the weatherstrip into the holes in the door.

Align the slot in the rear hood seal with the cowl pinch weld flange and press the rear hood seal into place.

Place the weatherstrip into the roof rail, then press the retainers into the weatherstrip and into the holes in the roof rail.

Take out the weatherstrip retainers from the holes in the door pillar.

Close the cargo door.

Install the retainer at the top of the weatherstrip to the door.

Reinstall the body side window.

First, remove the weatherstrip from the roof rail and take out the weatherstrip retainers from the holes in the roof rail.

A mastic sealer glue is included, so do not use weatherstrip adhesive; however, if reusing the seal, apply weatherstrip adhesive.

Attach the weatherstrip to the bottom of the door, and finally press the retainers in the side front door weatherstrip into the holes in the door.

Close the cargo door.

Start by removing the weatherstrip from the door pillar by gently pulling on it.

First, pull up on the rear hood seal and remove it from the cowl pinch-weld flange.

Remove the front door upper and lower pillar garnish moldings.

Press the retainers into the holes in the door.

First, remove the weatherstrip from the sliding side door.

Install the new left rear door weatherstrip onto the left rear door.

Position the new weatherstrip onto the door and firmly press the retainers into the holes to secure it in place.

Secure it at the top using GM Weatherstrip Adhesive (GM P/N 12345097, Canadian P/N 10953479).

Pull the rear door opening weatherstrip from the door opening pinch-weld flange, using 3M Release Agent or an equivalent if necessary.

First, remove the pins that secure the weatherstrip to the upper door.

Position the weatherstrip onto the door and press the retainers in the weatherstrip into the holes in the door.

Install the new weatherstrip onto the sliding side door.

First, remove the retainer at the top of the weatherstrip and detach it from the top of the door using 3M Release Agent or an equivalent.

Remove the side door trim panel.

Position the weatherstrip onto the door.

Finally, reinstall the hinge pillar upper garnish, hinge pillar lower garnish molding, side door opening frame garnish molding, passenger side front corner garnish molding, passenger side body side trim panel, and the side door stepwell mat.
