How to replace the Steering Column Cover on 2007 GMC Savana 3500?

In order to change the steering column trim covers, you need to disconnect the battery, disable the SIR system. Unscrew the steering wheel and gap hider and fit steering column. Take out the tilt lever and unattach the trim covers. Make sure that the ignition lock cylinder is removed and the new parts are installed in reverse order. Lastly, re-connect battery and activate SIR system.
