The replacement process begins by dislodging the engine mount strut bolt and nut at the left engine mount strut bracket on the engine before moving on to remove the bolt and nut from the engine mount strut at the engine mount strut bracket on the upper radiator support. Then disconnect the engine mount strut. Begin installation by placing the engine mount strut in its correct position before installing the bolt and nut at the engine mount strut bracket on the upper radiator support while keeping it only hand-tightened. To complete the installation position the engine mount strut then add the bolt and nut assembly at the left engine mount strut bracket on the engine before torquing the nuts at 48 N.m (35 lb ft).
