  A: The replacement process for underhood electrical center or junction box starts with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Pull away the fastener which connects the negative cable to the electrical center and separate the electrical center cover. Traverse to the electrical connector to disconnect it and use removed fasteners to detach the electrical center board. Last step for this procedure includes unlocking tabs on the electrical center board before lifting it up and using a pull motion on the harness at locking tabs to disconnect it. The electrical center requires removal from the vehicle by unfastening both components labeled as (1) and (2). Safely position the electrical center onto the vehicle by fastening it with fasteners (1, 2) at 10 n.m (86 lb in). It is necessary to attach the harness into the locking tabs then install fasteners to secure the electrical center board while torquing them to 7 n.m (62 lb in).
