Next, eliminate the water deflector from the window while securing it with tape that reaches the upper limit. Connect the door trim panel wire harness connector after which move the Window Regulator to window clamp nuts by 4 revolutions. Hat the Power Window Switch to lower the regulator half-way then disconnect the electrical connector attached to the power Window Motor. First remove the door panel through its rear access opening to extract the Window Regulator by removing bolts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The installation of the Window Regulator starts by inserting it into the door through its rear access hole and securing the Window Regulator bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) to 9 n.m (80 lb in). The tape lets you drop the window inside the Window Regulator clamps. Then install the power Window Motor electrical connector. To achieve maximum power output for the Window Motor start the vehicle before raising the window all the way up while tightening window clamp nuts to 11 n.m (95 lb in). Complete the inspection of the window under operation for seals and alignment before stopping the vehicle. Install the water deflector followed by the door trim panel into place.
