  A: The replacement process for Fuel Rail assembly starts with releasing fuel system pressure then disconnecting the car battery negative terminal. Work on the following steps for the Fuel Rail assembly replacement by first removing engine cover bolts along with the cover which also requires disconnecting electronic throttle control connector and intake Air Temperature Sensor, camshaft position sensor, manifold absolute pressure sensor, and Fuel Injector harness connectors. The operation requires removal of the purge solenoid valve which connects to the intake manifold hose together with the MAP Sensor vacuum hose and upper intake manifold bracket bolts and bracket. The service technician should cut the fuel feed line and detach the throttle body outlet coolant hose.
