How to replace the Back Up Light Switch on 2008 Chevrolet Corvette?

To replace the back up lamp switch first, lift and hold the vehicle in a suitable way. Next, proceed to remove the catalytic converters according to the prococedures for Catalytic Converter replacement - left side (6.0L) and Catalytic Converter replacement - right side(6.0L). Remove the back up lamp electrical connector and pull the back up lamp switch out. For installation, as sure as possible, install the back up lamp switch and secured to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Connect the back up lamp switch electric plug and reinstall the catalytic converters via the same procedures for Catalytic Converter replacement left side (6.0L) and Catalytic Converter replacement - right side (6.0L). Finally, lower the vehicle.
