  A: First you need to take off both upper and lower Steering Column trims to access the turn signal multifunction switch. Remove the wire harness straps from both sides of the Steering Column tilt head assembly and column. Then slide the wire harness assembly through to take it off the harness strap. Loosen the 2 pan head tapping screws to step the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly. Place the switch electrical contact on top of the turn signal cancel cam when fitting the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly onto the Steering Column assembly. Use the 2 pan head tapping screws to fasten them at 7 n.m force (62 pound-inch torque). Mts switch assembly installation involves routing wire harness at Steering Column jacket, inserting wire harness into strap, attaching new wire harness straps to Steering Column and column. Put back the upper and lower Steering Column trim covers last.
