2007 Chevrolet Corvette Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2007 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: Begin your job by taking off the upper and lower Steering Column trims. Separate wiring harness straps first from the tilt head of the Steering Column assembly then from the column itself before sliding the wire harness out of its mounting strap. Unscrew and remove two pan head tapping screws to take out the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly. Install the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly only when its electrical contact touches the turn signal cancel cam assembly. Use 2 pan head tapping screws to connect the multifunction switch assembly and tighten them until they reach 7 n.m (62 lb in). Guide the wire harness assembly through the space on top of the Steering Column jacket assembly. Afterward, position the wire harness assembly inside the wire harness strap. Place fresh wire harness straps on the Steering Column parts before you put on the trim panels.
