How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2008 Chevrolet Corvette?

You need to remove the instrument panel insulator before starting the brake pedal position sensor replacement. Press the CPA button on the connector without detaching it and undock the electrical connector. Take out the brake pedal position sensor after removing its attaching screw. Use adhesive GM P/N 12345493 to install the sensor on its pin and push the sensor until its locator fits into the extension bracket hole. Fasten the brake pedal position sensor screw to a torque level of 2Nm (18lb in). Attach the electrical connector then set the CPA in position to lock it securely. Put the sensor through calibration and replace the I/P insulator at the end of installation.
