How to replace the canister purge valves on 2008 Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step to replace the Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve requires removal of the left engine sight shield. Disconnect the engine vacuum pipe from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve to the intake manifold EVAP pipe before removing the engine purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve and its harness connector. Pry the EVAP canister purge valve out from its fixture on the purge bracket. You must first mount the EVAP canister purge valve onto its bracket before you attach the wire harness to it. Connect the engine purge pipe to both the chassis purge pipe and the engine vacuum pipe to the EVAP canister purge valve. Reinstall the left engine sight shield as the last step.
