How to replace the canister purge valves on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

You must turn off the ignition before starting replacement of the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve. Begin by disconnecting both the electrical connector and the hose/pipe attached to the evap canister purge solenoid valve. Start by removing the retaining bolt before extracting the evap canister purge solenoid valve from the Intake Manifold. Place the evap canister purge solenoid valve onto the Intake Manifold followed by installation of the retaining bolt and torquing it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Connect the hose/pipe and electrical connector to the evap canister purge solenoid valve during the reinstallation process.
