How to replace the canister purge valves on 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?

The evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve installation requires a turn off of the ignition before proceeding. First disconnect the electrical connector which controls the evap canister purge solenoid valve before removing its hose/pipe. Mount the evap canister purge solenoid valve outside the Intake Manifold after you remove its retaining bolt. When installing the evap canister purge solenoid valve attach it to the Intake Manifold before tightening the retaining bolt to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Connect the electrical connector and hose/pipe back to the evap canister purge solenoid valve.
