How to replace the EGR valve on 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?

The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve replacement starts by removing the egr pipe before disconnecting the EGR Valve electrical connector. The EGR Valve installation begins with removing its bolts after which the technician removes both the EGR Valve and its gasket. Prepare the EGR Valve mating surface before putting in the new gasket and the EGR Valve onto the Intake Manifold. The EGR Valve bolts should have their installation followed by torqueing to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). After that connect the EGR Valve electrical connector and complete the installation by reinstalling the egr pipe.
